My Favorite Foods!
Once on a 40 day and night backpacking trip, with all of his gear in a "day pack" Purple Hat was asked what he was taking to eat, to which he replied, "my favorite food!"

And so it still is!  Purple Hat only takes his favorite food on his trips:  dark chocolate, coffee beans, wild dried blueberries and other dried fruits, macadamia and other nuts, crackers, jerkies, dried Greek olives (finished with olive oil, Italian seasoning, and hot pepper flakes), and to clinse his palate before turning in for the night, ginger candy!

While you might wonder how you can loose weight eating such great tasting goodies, keep in mind that you are only eating 1,000 calories of them a day.  


Should you have an allergy to any of these items, or any other problem with them, then some other food will be switched for it.
